The shop’s currency is in GBP - Great British Pound.
Payment:
We accept most major types of payments including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay etc.
When ordering with a currency other than GBP, your chosen bank will automatically convert the currency for a small fee. (this fee will be your responsibility to pay)
Checking out with Paypal is not available at the moment.
Please ensure you have sufficient funds in your account before checking out!
Discount Code:
If you have received a discount code and would like to use it towards your order, this can be done on the checkout page.
Discount codes are usually given out when signing up to the mailing list or once you have ordered from my shop!
Address:
Please triple check ALL personal details when at the checkout page.
(This includes products in the basket, including quantities)
Please triple check the given address is correct and up to date.
Failure to give the correct address will only result in the loss of your order. Paolaillustrations is not liable in the situation in which the buyer has given the wrong address.
If the order happens to be shipped back to my return address, due to any of the above reasons, it will be shipped back after checking the problem and reaching out to the customer. However in most cases, the wrong address will result in lost packages.
Stock:
The majority of items are handmade only by myself, therefore each item has a small amount of stock! Most items, unless stated, will be restocked once sold out.
Limited Stock - Limited stock products will most likely not be restocked once sold out, or if they are to be restocked it may take longer than usual.
Limited Edition - Only a few of this product will be made and sold.
Discontinued - Product will no longer be made or restocked.
Shipping
Processing Times:
Orders are sent out once a week; every Saturday by 12pm BST.
If you would like your order to be sent out on the same week please order before Saturday.
All orders made after this will be sent out the following Saturday.
Packaging and Shipping:
Unless stated, all packaging is recyclable. (Please check recycling requirements for your own country)
Products are sent out in packaging such as recyclable glassine bags as well as paper bags. This ensures that items are protected from water and outside factors while in transit.
The cost of shipping also includes the cost of packaging.
Standard Shipping does NOT include a tracking number. Please use this service at your own discretion, especially when ordering from outside of the UK.
Paolaillustrations is NOT reliable for packages lost due to buyers choice of shipping.
I can only give rough estimates of when packages should arrive, however this is down to external factors of the postal services. If you are worried your parcel is not arriving, feel free to email or use my contact page and I will try my best to help!

Customs & VAT:
Customs and import taxes (VAT/GST) might apply to international orders outside of the United Kingdom once they arrive at the destination.
Paolaillustrations will NOT be responsible for any extra costs incurred.
Please be aware failure of payment may result in your package being destroyed or sent back, overall delaying the time your package will arrive or it may not arrive at all.
In the case that a package has been destroyed, it most likely cannot be replaced.
In the case that the package is sent back by the postal service and you no longer want it (it will need to be in absolute perfect condition), a refund may be possible, however any extra expenses due to the situation will be deducted from the refund amount. Delivery charges will not be refunded.
For all information on customs/vat/gst please research on your own countries government website before ordering.
Cancellation
As a small business, Paolaillustrations does NOT accept Cancellations.
Please check all item descriptions and shop information before ordering, this will prevent from needing to cancel orders.
Returns
Returns, Exchanges, Refunds:
Paolaillustrations does NOT accept any Returns, Exchanges or Refunds.
All products are created and sent out with great care and attention. I would never ship out any item that I do not deem perfect.
Please make sure to check all item details before making an order to avoid disappointment.
If products/orders are lost or damaged during transit, depending on the item it may be able to be sent out again. If this is the case, please email me (with pictures and order number) at: paolaillustrations@hotmail.com.
Damaged or Lost mail does NOT include:
Untracked mail
Orders damaged or lost once already at final destination/delivered
Lost deliveries due to inaccurate address provided
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. In the case of 'Paola's Illustrated Post' it will be once a month.
These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select. Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.
If you don't want to renew your monthly subscription you can cancel it.
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time.
Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.
